“On December 17, 2018, our Community Guidelines will change and adult content will no longer be allowed on Tumblr.”

This was the announcement made earlier today by Tumblr.  Since this blog, Sausage with Girth, definitely has adult content, my guess is it will be going away in the next two weeks.

To prepare for this, I will try to back up all content and look for another platform. If any of you have suggestions, please let me know.  I will also be upping the posts made each day, to clear out my queue before the end.

Some of you may have noticed that this blog, sausagewithgirth, went off line last week.  Tumblr had terminated it. This was obviously a great disappointment to me, as a great deal of time and effort has gone into it over the past several years. However the story does have a happy ending. I am back!

I wrote a nice note over to the folks at tumblr support (https://www.tumblr.com/support). I stated that I had received no warnings or notifications that there were any issues with my blog and was surprised that it was terminated. I asked (again, nicely) to have it re-instated. Within a few days I was back. So for those of you who had blogs terminated recently, all hope is not lost. Write them and ask if there is something that can be done.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who reached out to say you missed me. The correspondence is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank my followers. Shortly prior to being temporarily terminated sausagewithgirth reached 100,000 followers. This is a milestone I never thought would be possible. It is amazing to me to know how many people want to read the stuff my mind comes up with while I am jerking off.
