It was my first day on the site and the foreman introduced me around to the crew.  I was to work today with “Big” John, who operated the crane.  I assumed he got the nickname because he was 6′-4″ tall, but he assured me that was not the case. After an hour or so it was time for a coffee break, “Big” John, casually unzipped his work pants and showed me how he really got the nickname.  He told me as new man on the crew, my job was to keep “little” John satisfied.
