Little bro, you took that first thrust like a pro.  I think you are going to do fine during the next month of pledging.   You are a natural, congratulations.

As your big bro, my responsibility is to insure you have what it takes to be a member of this fraternity. To mentor you thru this selection process.  A big part of the pledging process is proving oneself worthy of being made a brother.

I, and several other senior members of this house, will test you on a regular basis. If you can take what we give you, your pledge process should should go smoothly.
