The entire season they have been training to “put it in the goal”. Coach has drilled it into their brains “Your goal is the goal”  So when Billy showed up in tighty whities with the goal indicated, his teammates training kicked in like a reflex action.  They lined up and took turns shooting in the goal.  

Coach would have been proud, every member of the team put one in the goal and scored.
